I WAS STOPPED BY A MAN IN A BORDERS STORE WHILST LOOKING IN THE CRIME SECTION. HE ADVISED ME TO TRY THESE PAUL HENKE BOOKS, WHICH WERE SPREAD OVER A TABLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE, I ASKED IF THEY WERE ANY GOOD AND HE REPLIED "I HOPE SO I WROTE THEM". YES IT TURNED OUT HE WAS PAUL HENKE, I WAS VERY INTERESTED IN THE TIFAT FILES STARRING NICK HUNTER, SO I HAVE BEGUN TO READ THEM IN ORDER STARING WITH DEBACLE HIS 1ST BOOK.DEBACLE WAS THE BASIS AND SET UP OF HENKE'S ANTI TERRORIST ORGANISATION SO I FOUND IT GOOD BUT SLOW IN VARIOUS PARTS, HOWEVER MAYHEM TIFAT FILE TWO WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, NOW THAT TIFAT WAS UP AND RUNNING THERE WAS NON STOP ACTION THROUGHOUT. HENKES MILITARY BACKGROUND AND KNOWLEDGE OF THIS FIELD HAS MADE AN EXCELLENT READ. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE.

Met the author in Brighton and was impressed with his enthusiasm. Wanted some good books to take to Tenerife over the winter. Bought two and was not disappointed. Mayhem was the best book I have read on this subject. With all that is going on in the Middle East I felt it must have been written very recently but it was actually published a few years ago. Didn't get much sleep for a couple of nights. Fantastic vivid cliff hangers. Also made you see there are baddies on both sides. Will be buying the rest of this authors books. Just started A Million Tears. Very different sort of book but am already gripped.
